Job Description
The Service Technician is responsible for servicing Dakota products (and our Manufacturer’s Products…) within a timely fashion as contracted with our customers. Extensive travel and overtime is possible. As the face of Dakota Fabricating Inc., the Service Technician must be courteous, occasionally educating our customers on proper maintenance schedules, recommending spares and parts replacement at designated intervals. The Service Technician is an integral part of customer relationship management.
Skills and Expertise
The following attributes are essential for a successful candidate:
• Provide service that will range in scope for Dakota’s Mining / Sand & Gravel customers
• Perform installation, commissioning, customer training, troubleshooting at customer locations
• Able to travel extensively and work over-time
• Timely completion of standard service report, customer feedback
• Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality
• Maintain accurate records, expense reimbursement forms, and other documentation
• Computer literate helpful
• Self Starter
• Drive car / service truck
