Largest Solar Dish in the World

We considered it an extreme honor when SolarCat Inc. (now merged with Southwest Solar Technologies Inc.) came to us with the request to fabricate the boom structure for what would become the largest solar collector to date.

This Solar Dish is a 320 m² unit that produces 250 kW of thermal output and a concentration to the equivalent of 2000 suns at the focal point. This amazing ‘Green Energy’, used in the form of light or heat for electrical power generation or thermal process heat applications.
